Business Development Manager in Medical Technology (m/f/d)
Are you the person we are looking for?
Your Responsibilities:
- Building, maintaining, and developing sustainable relationships with clinics, physicians, research institutions, distributors, and strategic partners
- Establishing and managing a strong network of integration partners as well as continuously enhancing collaboration
- Identifying, approaching, and nurturing relevant decision-makers in clinical and healthcare environments
- Further developing and optimizing the market positioning of our products and actively contributing to product and technology roadmaps
- Close cross-departmental collaboration with marketing, sales, product management, and regulatory affairs
- Representing the company at trade fairs, congresses, and industry events for networking and market observation
- Negotiating contracts, cooperation agreements, and licensing models
- Monitoring market trends, competitors, and regulatory developments (MDR, FDA, ISO 13485)
- Supporting strategic planning and corporate development
- Preparing business plans, forecasts, and reporting to management
Your Profile:
- Several years of experience in business development, sales, or product management – ideally in medical technology or a regulated healthcare environment
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (MDR, ISO 13485, FDA regulations is an advantage)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as a professional demeanor
- Entrepreneurial thinking, analytical skills, and a structured working style
- High willingness to travel and enthusiasm for networking
- Completed studies in medical technology, biomedicine, business administration, health economics, or a comparable field
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
